Lucknam Park is a magnificent listed Palladian mansion dating from 1720, set in extensive 500 acre park lands near Bath. Maintained as a family home until 1987, when it opened its doors as a hotel, it has been lovingly restored.
Lucknam Park is one of Britain's finest country house hotels, offering superb facilities in a splendid Georgian setting, just minutes away from Bath. As you enter the extensive grounds, you will come in on a mile long avenue, flanked by rows of beech and lime trees, opening out onto broad lawns surrounding the elegant house in an aura of tranquility. Each of the 13 suites and 29 bedrooms are individually designed with fabrics, antiques and ornaments specially chosen to reflect the character of the rooms. All rooms have views across the park or the lovely courtyard. All guests wishing to dine with us during their stay are asked to make dinner reservations prior to arrival.

These rooms are situated in both the main House and around the delightful courtyard. Although these are the smallest rooms at Lucknam Park no services or attention to detail are spared. These rooms are ideal for guests planning a shorter stay. The rooms can only accommodate 2 people. Please note that as of 1 November 2007 the swimming pool will be closed for redevelopment.
The Park Restaurant, spacious yet intimate, was once the ballroom at Lucknam and boasts an elegant décor with crystal chandeliers and fine views across the grounds. These memorable surroundings provide the ideal setting for cuisine of exceptional quality. The Park Restaurant has won numerous prestigious awards and continues to surprise and delight the many returning guests.

From the m4 travelling West:
Exit at Junction 17 to Chippenham on the a350. Continue on a350 towards Warminister and at the fourth roundabout turn right from Bristol(east) on the a420. When you reach Ford (about 4 miles), take a left to Colerne. After about 3 miles turn right at the colerne cross roads into Doncombe Lane. The entrance to Lucknam Park is approximately 1 and a quater mile on the right. From the M4: travelling East Exit junction 18. Take the A46 to Bath and continue for approximately 3 miles. At the mini-roundabout turn left onto the A420 and continue for approximately 5 miles at the crossroads at Colerne turn right. The entrance to Lucknam Park is approximately 1 and a quater mile on the right.
From Bath:(approximately 15 minutes):
Take the A4 towards Chippenham. Travel 2 miles to Batheaston and turn left for Colerne. At the crossroads for Colerne turn left. The entrance to Lucknam Park is approximately 1 and a quater mile on the right.
